WATAWAT Film Review

The movie 'Watawat' is made for us to know the importance and how our flag is made. Before I start my review about the film, I want to tell you my experience about how I rewatch the movie even though the film is not available online. Only trailers are available on the internet and there is no copy of the movie itself, it is because the director told me that the work might be pirated. Well, I understand what he meant. One comment caught my attention on how will I watch the movie and it says that, "pm me on Facebook." So I did chat him on Facebook and told him that I need to watch the movie because I need to do a film review for my school. After three to four days, thankfully, he noticed and replied. At first, I thought he wouldn't notice me because he was busy for his next movie. Then here I am, doing a review about the movie.

The film is well made. The dialogue and story flowed smoothly, the transitions were executed smoothly. The resolution of the movie may be low and be a hindrance to your watching but I didn't let that hindrance affect me to watch that. Instead, I wrote and I understood the movie well. All the details of planning and making our flag are there in the film. The actors performed well and the production team was really prepared.

Apart from showing the events of the flag-making, the heroes who showed courage and bravery in the country were also shown there. Although one of the directors is still a novice, the film was well screened and watched by many children and students in 2010, and I'm one of them.

Abstract: This is a travel within the past. The Watawat (Flag) is a film that shows half of the history of the Philippines. It is also the symbol of our freedom and the declaration of the First Republic. Symbols were produced by Doña Marcela Agoncillo (Chin Chin Gutierrez) based on the ask of Common Emilio Aguinaldo to make colors. They did it while they are in Hong Kong since Philippines is hectic because of the Spaniards. After five days, Doña Marcela Agoncillo, Enchang, and Delfina Natividad finished our flag. It's made to represent a shape, color, and the picture of strength and truth behind the endeavors to attain a wanted freedom. In Kawit, Cavite on June 12, 1898 was a noteworthy wave of the official hail of the first Republic. This happened within the center window of the home of General Aguinaldo. It got to be the day of full independence. The flag will proceed to sparkle whereas delicate individuals kept on recognize its significance.
